Up to a point
Up we go a path not ours
Up we go to join the flight
Down we go a place familiar
Down we go without an insight
Up we go and down again
All, we reckon is in vain
Reaching a point, one point of many
Declaring this is it, that’s good as any
But where one goes
His thoughts go with
That we on earth are stranded
That life has nothing to be added
Along the way one stops and sighs
Thinking there is yet much more
If only he would look during a stop
To see the way is actually the top
Up to a point reach our Gaia-earth
Engulfed by space, short time from birth
The point beyond, about we like to dream
Is within us, forever stretching, without a seam
